COMPROMISE

How much compromise, before we lose our way?

The more we down our standards, the more they demand each day.

We try to understand every aspect, their emotions and thoughts,

But they cross each boundary, leaving our hearts caught.

The more we try to judge, the more we're told it's okay,

But with each compromise, our integrity fades away.

We become what we're not, a shadow of our true self,

And they start believing we're cheap,worth less, and we begin to behave & believe it as well.

Every woman who speaks openly isn't mean or characterless,

Don't let yourself or others cross the limits, be fearless.

Set your boundaries high, stand tall and proud,

For compromise should never mean sacrificing who you are, or allowing yourself to be loud.

This poem is a powerful reminder to stand up for ourselves, our values, and boundaries. It's a call to recognize that compromise should never mean sacrificing our integrity or self-worth.
